Yes I Voted!!!!!  One of the benefits of living in the Trailer Park is no line at our polls this morning.   Yay illegals and general apathy!  I was concerned after hearing stories of friends waiting 2 hrs downtown to cast an early ballot last Saturday but it was smooth sailing.

This election is like no other.  Roomie and I both had friends call last night to discuss it.  Although not out of order for him and his friends with me and mine it is.  One of mine was going to see McCain at  his midnight rally just for the historical aspect.   Just talked to him and he was laughing about all the Washington types trying to look Western with their fake faded jeans and penny loafers.

Besides the biggie my state has an anti gay marriage prop on the ballot and oh how i hate the haters in the name of their god.  Out of all the political robocalls we've received one of the only live people I've talked to was pushing their anti-love crap.  I didnt swear or even really tell him off but the disgust in my voice was blatantly obvious when he identified himself and it felt good to slam the phone down.   Would a creator of a Universe honestly have nothing better to do than obsess about what goes on between consenting adults legs?  Sheez,  just seeing the comments from our own Mo'resident psycho/knows firsthand what god is thinking commenter pisses me off.  It shouldnt, he's crazy, but they just preach nothing but ugly.  Enough already.  If only dogs would grow thumbs and take over the world.

Hey Rusty! I just got back from voting and it feels good to have contributed. My mom was so cute when I called her to make sure she and my step-dad were going to vote. I told her that if she wasn't going to, to make it their Christmas gift to me. Not necessary. She even gave me advice for local issues and candidates, which I followed.
My cousin voted differently than we did, but we laughed and said, "Well, we love her anyway!"

Everyone could use a dose of canine's simple loving nature.

Good for your Mama and you. Your cousin must have money, it seems every family I know has one rich republican relative but back to my own family, they were all republicans but poor. Makes no sense, where was our damn money?

My younger daughter, friend NN and I all voted for Obama - in fact nearly all of my friends did. with 1 notable exception. Older daughter didn't like either McCain or Obama so made a write in vote for Bill Cosby.

1. Love the pic! Just this morning I noticed a cute big rat leaving the school cafeteria. I think that solves the "mystery meat" mystery.
LOL

2. I too have poor republicans in the family and it really doesn't make any sense. Actually, we're not really family, but do share the same DNA.

3. I'm really contemplating getting a bumper sticker for my car that reads: Dear God, Please save me from your followers.

Love your post!
A.

Did I say poi? I meant grass skirts. And those coconut bras they wore at the Kodak Show.

that'll keep the pinchers at bay.

so, instead of "sugar tits", you'll be "prickly tits"?

Speaking of "prickly," I have to confess, when Rusty mentioned barrel cacti, I thought of what interesting penis sheaths they'd make.
